1128_Weeks 7/8: Act 3

 

Spotty

The moral of my story is that learning to love is learning to let go. Even if your love is not by your sides physically, they will always supporting you and accompanying you in a different way eternally.

Act 1
Once upon a time, there was a salamander called Spotty, his job is to accompany Moa and make sure she doesn’t feel alone. He got a big smile on his face because he believes that smile is a curve that sets everything right.
However, because of this big smile, he suffers from gas bubble disease. Every time he eats, a plenty of air will enter his body and form a bubble on his skin. And this is Moa, she’s the best friend of Spotty.
Every day, they spend time with each other and Moa will help Spotty to pop the bubble to make sure he’s not in danger of getting too many bubbles. They promise to be each other’s best friend forever.
Until one day, Moa starts her school life, and develop interpersonal relationship, and starts to become a grown up.

Act 2
At first, Spotty goes to school with Moa to give her the courage of meeting new friends.
However, as Moa making more friends at school, Spotty starts to be forgotten and ignored. He no longer goes to school with Moa. He sill waits at door, expecting Moa coming home, and quiet listening to Moa sharing her school life.
Spotty decides to start a revenge. He starts to stop Moa from being friends with other people. He once even tears the comic book toys from Moa’s friends in order to make them having a quarrel. Moa is sad after having a quarrel with her friends, and talks to Spotty more. He thinks he wins Moa back to him, but he also notices that Moa no longer gains happiness from spending time with him as before.

Act 3
Until finally, Moa forgets to pop Spotty’s bubble for several days again and leaves home with the window opens.
Because of the bubbles on his skin, he looses the control of his body and begins to float in the air. He got blew out of the room. When he flies above Moa’s school, he tries to get Moa’s attention to save him, but what he sees is that Moa having fun with her friends happily, with a smile that Spotty hasn’t seen for a long time. Before he notices, he crashes into a bird, then they both fall down to the ground. Spotty is too sad to accept a ride offered by the bird. While they walk on the way home, they pass the school playground, bird says, wow the girl over there looks happy! Spotty looks at the girl, who is Moa. Spotty stands at the gate and look for a second. He takes a bird’s ride home, and sees kids blowing bubbles at the park. When bubbles pop, it will turns into many tiny shiny sparkles and falling into the ground.

Spotty gets back home and he takes a look of the room where is fulled of the memory between he and Moa. He decides to leave before the relationship starts to get painful. He starts to eat as much as possible with tears. Before the last bite, Moa’s home and try to stop, buy she couldn’t reach him because it’s too high. Spotty doesn’t say any word but show her a big smile. He takes the last bite, and says he will always be the biggest supporter and her best friend whenever she needs him. He turns into a huge bubble, and pops into sparkles. Moa uses her hands to holds the fallen sparkles mixed with her tears. When spotty’s scarf falls on her hand, she knees on the floor, knowing that she has lost Spotty forever. Moa collects all the fallen sparkles and turns them into a Spotty pendant.

Moa believes that even though Spotty is not beside her anymore, he is still accompanying her in a different way.
